The COVID-19 pandemic is unlike anything we have seen across communities around the world. As a Baltimore owned and operated company with a 60-year history of corporate citizenship, it is essential now more than ever that we protect our customers and safeguard our team members during these unprecedented times.

As we adhere to the guidelines of the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention for minimizing the risk of COVID-19 transmission, here at Next Day Floors we are taking additional preventative measures to keep our customers safe while supporting the welfare of our staff and their families.

If upgrading your flooring is a priority at this time, then it’s a priority for us. The following are three safety-oriented ways you can now shop with the assistance of one of our expert team members.


You can book a 30-minute, on-line video shopping appointment. During this no contact appointment, you will be able to speak live with an expert team member to discuss your flooring needs, view our entire collection, and order up to five samples.

Clean and wrapped samples will be delivered to your home so that you can view them for 24 hours in the safety of your own environment. We ask that all samples be placed outside at your front door the next day so they can be picked up by one of our associates.


We are now limiting the number of customers in our showrooms to no more than one household at a time with each household consisting of seven people or less. To facilitate this process, we have instituted an on-line scheduling system where you can select showroom location in addition to the date and time that works best for you.

During these private appointments, our sales team members will wear masks and maintain proper social distancing in accordance recommended CDC guidelines. For the safety of our staff, we also require our customers to bring and wear masks during appointments. In addition, we will offer protective gloves to our customers before entry. All door handles, counters and previously viewed samples will be cleaned prior to your visit. This service is available at all six showroom locations.


With our recently added on-line scheduling system, you can also select a preferred date and time to have a private, in-home visit. During these visits, our sales team will wear masks and maintain proper social distancing in accordance recommended CDC guidelines. For the safety of our staff, we also require our customers to wear masks during these appointments. After each appointment, all viewed samples will be cleaned.

We also ask that if you or someone in your household exhibits any sign(s) of illness prior to an in-showroom or a shop at home visit, please call us at 1-410-541-1845 and we will gladly reschedule your appointment.


As all non-essential Next Day Floor team members work from home, all essential team members are also required to stay at home if they or someone in their household exhibits signs of illness. In addition to wearing masks while in public and washing hands before and after public outings and/or social interactions, we have also increased cleaning services and sanitization in all of our showrooms and facilities.

Here at Next Day Floors, we believe that shopping in private is the best way to safely get beautiful new floors. What matters most, however, is the safety and welfare of our customers, team members and the community at-large. And while we do not anticipate any interruptions in operations, we remain vigilant in continuing to serve you with the quality and service for which we are known.
